TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - High school football is the talk of the town, but volleyball teams are also grinding it out. It's the first week of practice in the state of Florida, and Chiles High is a good mix of experience and youth.
The Timberwolves are looking to get back to the postseason. Head coach Kaitlin DiLuzio thinks they can do it, as all but four girls from last year's team are back.
"We've been working in the off season a lot on some of our downfalls from last year, some of the things we can easily correct," she said at practice Wednesday. "We're very excited, not a whole lot of sleeping, a lot of good energy, excitement, little bit of nerves for some of our new kids. We're out here, we're working, and getting everything in sync for the next couple of weeks."
Chiles opens the regular season on the road at Florida High on August 21st.
