TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Chiles and Maclay are teaming up to throw the 3rd Annual Battle of the Borders volleyball tournament this weekend. The 15-team, two day tournament boasts State Champions from Georgia, Alabama and Florida.
The tough play comes at the perfect time, as District tournament action kicks off in less than a month.
"You better be pretty close on point and now in another two weeks it's fine tuning time," said Maclay head coach Erica Bunch. "It's studying teams ant hings like that. You're keeping them mentally healthy, athletically healthy, all of those types of things come in to that when you start getting into this part of the season."
