THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - Two years ago, the Brookwood girls soccer team finished their season with zero wins. Fast forward two years, and they are one of the best teams in their Region.
Head coach Eddie Foy has this program going in the right direction, and the Warriors looked to continue their winning ways on Senior night.
Brookwood celebrated their seniors with a 2-0 win over Terrell Academy, improving to 7-0-1 on the year.
"They're starting to understand how to spread the field, and find the gaps in between so they are connecting, playing very well from one side of the field to the other, and learning how to play the game of soccer," said Foy after the win. "We're building a foundation here to be successful, not just for this year, but for many years to come."
