TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — With the economic uncertainties from the coronavirus, we here at ABC 27 are shining a light on businesses that are doing their part to help out the community while keeping their business open.
Keynotes Studio says, "We're Open, Tallahassee!"
Keynotes Piano Studio is open and is now offering online piano and guitar lessons, and some free ones, to keep everyone safe.
For 24 years, Jamie Garcia Bolao has been teaching students piano and guitar lessons. Fifteen years ago, he began offering online lessons, and has found them to be successful and effective.
Now, during this time of social distancing and uncertainty, he says the piano and guitar lessons online are healing.
"I am extremely thankful, because piano, or any musical instrument, requires a lot of work over a long period of time, and I think this provides them with the continuity that they wouldn't have otherwise," said Bolao. "As a business owner, I am extremely thankful that I'm able to do this."
He's also now offering a free 30-minute online trial lesson for new students. To sign up, check out his website, KeynotesPianoStudio.com.
