TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Police say an unknown person tried to grab a child who was walking home from the bus on Wednesday.
According to the Tallahassee Police Department, the 13 year-old was walking to her apartment at the 2300 Block of Killearn Center Boulevard around 5:30 p.m.
When the girl was walking down a hallway in the middle of the building, she was grabbed from behind and told "not to make a sound," according to police.
Officers say she screamed and the suspect let her go. The victim described the suspect as,"a Tall Black Male, wearing a Black Hoody and clothing covering his head."
