WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - An 8-year-old bicyclist suffered minor injuries after being involved in a hit-and-run accident in Wakulla County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, at about 3:56 p.m. on Thursday, an unknown white car was traveling east on Otter Lake Road.
FHP states the white car hit a 8-year-old bicyclist, knocking him off the bike and giving him minor injuries to his chest, abdomen, and left elbow.
He was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
FHP says the car continued to travel east on Otter Lake Road, without stopping.
FHP was assisted by the Wakulla County County Sheriff's Office, Wakulla County Fire and Rescue, and Wakulla County Emergency Services.
