WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Troopers said that a 62-year-old man has died after his car went down a ditch and turned upside down.
The Florida Highway Patrol said that Joe Glow Jr. was traveling north on Smith Creek Road. They said that Glow didn't account for a right curve in the road, and as a result, the car veered off into the lane going the opposite way.
As the car crossed over the southbound lane, the front, left side of the car hit a guardrail. Troopers said that the car traveled down a steep ditch before overturning onto the roof of the car. The car came to a stop upside down in a small creek.
Troopers said that Glow died from the injuries he suffered.
FHP was assisted by Wakulla EMS and the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office.
