HAMILTON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A 19-year-old Florida woman is behind bars for leading a high speed chase that stretched through two states.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said that Siyana Janyae-Princess Allen lead the chase that started on I-75 in Georgia Monday.
Deputies say the chase started in Lowndes County, Ga., came to Hamilton County, Fla., went back to Lowndes, then to Hamilton again.
During the pursuit, the car was speeding at 130 miles per hour, swerving in and out of north and southbound lanes. The chase lasted for about 25 minutes and stretched more than 30 miles.
Allen was eventually pulled over near mile-marker 457 and was then taken into custody.
Deputies say they found a small amount of marijuana in the car and discovered she may have been driving with a suspended license.
She is charged with aggravated felony fleeing and eluding by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Charges from the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office are pending.
