LIVE OAK, Fla. (WTXL) - Troopers have identified the woman who was killed in a Live Oak rollover crash on Wednesday.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 11:43 a.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Railroad Street and 147th Road.
Troopers say Paul Free, 34, of Jasper was driving his Chevy Trailblazer west on Railroad Street toward 147th Road when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of his car.
The car then ran off the road and overturned on the south shoulder of Railroad Street, coming to a rest on its roof.
One passenger, identified as 47-year-old Heather Bilodeau from Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts, died in the crash. Free was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
A 10-year-old passenger was not injured in the crash.
Troopers say charges are pending further investigation.
