LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A woman is being charged with careless driving after running into the back of another vehicle that was stopped due to a school bus.
Leanna Smith, 20, of Bristol, Fla., is being charged with careless driving.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 3:05 p.m. on Sept. 12.
FHP said Smith and a Chevrolet pickup truck were traveling westbound on State Road 20.
FHP stated the Chevrolet was driving in front of Smith's car. The Chevrolet stopped due to a school bus and Smith hit the back of the truck.
Smith was not injured in the accident, but her passenger sustained minor injuries.
The driver and passenger in the Chevrolet were not injured.
FHP stated alcohol did not play a factor in the accident.
