A woman in Hartford, Connecticut, called 911 because she said a local pizza shop gave her hamburger on her pizza instead of bacon, WTNH-TV in Hartford reported on Wednesday.
The woman told the dispatcher that she ordered half cheese, half bacon, but the pizza delivered to her was half cheese, half hamburger.
"They bring me half hamburger. So I called them back, and they don't want to give my money back. They keep hanging up on me." The caller wanted to know, "If they don't want to give me my money back, can you guys do something?"
The dispatcher said it was a dispute between her and the pizza shop, but if the caller wanted to go to the restaurant an officer would meet her.
The pizza shop told a different local station that they would have refunded the woman's money, but she had already eaten half of it. Police have decided the woman will not be charged for misuse of 911.
