GADSDEN CO., FL (WTXL) - Three people are dead following a crash in Gadsden County Sunday night.
Troopers with Florida Highway Patrol have confirmed 25-year-old Vernard Safford, 30-year-old Anthony Ware, and 41-year-old Ernest Jones all died on scene.
According to FHP, Safford was driving on Brickyard Road around 7:15 at night when he crossed over into the path of Jones, causing the two to hit head on.
Troopers say the crash caused Safford's car to go up in flames. At this time, it is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
More details on the incident are expected to be released by troopers.
