SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - One person has been arrested and two people are still at-large after they kidnapped and robbed a man at gunpoint in Suwannee County.

Cheyenne Drymond, 22, of Live Oak, Fla., was arrested by the Suwannee County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday.

On July 8, the victim was flagged down by Drymond at the Suwannee River boat ramp in Dowling Park, claiming to be stranded and needing a ride.

SCSO says while the two were talking, an unknown white man, wearing a mask and armed with a pistol, approached the victim and threatened to kill him if he didn't comply.

The unknown man and Drymond got into the victim's car and forced him to drive across the river into Lafayette County.

Deputies state they ultimately stopped at Twin Rivers State Park in Madison County where they were met by another masked white man, armed with a rifle and driving a green truck or van.

Once they stopped, they ordered the victim to get on the ground and they took his wallet, cellphone, and car keys before leaving the scene in a green vehicle.

The victim was able to run from the woods and stop a passing driver, who called 911.

Drymond is being charged with kidnapping, robbery, and tampering with evidence, but has refused to identify the other two suspects involved in the incident.

On Wednesday, Shannon Stewart, 26, of Live Oak, Fla. was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence, for logging into Drymond's social media account and deleting messages related to the incident.

SCSO says if you have any information regarding this case, to please call them at 386-362-2222.
