VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Valdosta State University has released information about who exactly is making up their freshman class.
According to the school, the Class of 2019 includes 1,332 full-time students.
62% of those students benefit from Georgia's HOPE and Zell Miller scholarship programs.
60% of those students are female, 28% are first generation college students.
VSU's freshman class is made up of students from 16 states, 15 foreign countries, and 117 counties in Georgia.
The students' top majors include pre-nursing, psychology, engineering studies, and subjects in the business field.
