VALDOSTA, GA. (WTXL) - The Valdosta Police Department Narcotics Unit make an arrest Tuesday after a suspicious package is called in.
Valdosta Detectives received a tip about a package that was received at 523 Brookdale Drive. The resident told Detectives they received the package from California. Upon further investigation detectives arrested 23 year old Galen Nathaniel Cole, who lives at 1307 Baytree Drive, for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and felony use of a communication device. Detectives seized 1.24 pounds of high grade medical marijuana, with a street value of $9,780.
Cole is being held at the Lowndes County Jail pending judicial proceedings.
