NORMAN PARK, Ga. (WTXL)--We now know the identities of the two people killed in a crash in Colquitt County.

Georgia State Patrol troopers say a Chevy Impala, driven by 40-year-old Cathy Parrish, was headed south on Georgia Highway 35 in Norman Park. A tractor-trailer was going north. It happened Wednesday around 3:30 p.m.

Troopers say the Impala crossed over into the northbound lane and hit the tractor-trailer in the front. Parrish died at the scene. One of her passengers, 63-year-old Sarah Mckinnon died at a Tallahassee hospital. A third passenger, 54-year-old Shirley Greir, was taken to Archbold Memorial Hospital. Greir survived.

Johnny Senn of Sylvester, Georgia, was driving the truck. He told troopers he thought Parrish was going to make a left turn since she traveled into the turn lane.

He said he then tried to stop. Senn wasn’t hurt. Troopers say it’s unclear why the Impala traveled into the northbound lane.
