PERRY, Fla. (WTXL) - Two men arrested for installing a card skimmer at a local gas station could be responsible for multiple skimmers across the state.
Police have arrested the two people accused of trying to scam customers with card skimmers at gas stations in Perry and possibly other locations across the state.
Perry Police arrested 29-year-old Lazaro Martinez and 35-year-old Pedro Martinez Ortiz for burglary and fraud, along with possession of burglary tools.
Officials say the two came from Hialeah, and they were caught at the Murphy USA gas station next to Walmart in Perry.
Authorities believe the two targeted multiple places across Florida, and expect state and federal agencies will be involved before the investigation is complete.
