Two Arrested in Dairy Farm Armed Robbery

MITCHELL COUNTY, GA (WTXL) -- Deputies arrested two people for armed robbery at a dairy farm.

Around 11pm Monday, the two suspects walked into a barn on a dairy farm on Jackson Dairy Road and fired a warning shot. The suspects then demanded money from the people milking the cows. Deputies say that after the suspects got what they wanted they went to another barn on the property. The suspects again fired a warning shot in the air and demanded money. However, this time one of the suspects hit a worker with a gun.

The suspects ran into the woods leaving behind their get away car, say deputies

The victim was knocked out and had to be taken to the hospital.

While investigators were on scene they say the two people came to the farm trying to get the vehicle that was left behind by the armed robbers. They were both arrested. At this time deputies have not released their names.
