(WTXL) - Here's a reminder to heed if you plan on going out or hitting the road this week.
Troopers in the southeast are ramping up efforts to get drivers to slow down.
They are calling it Operation Southern Shield.
The weeklong project targets speeders across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
The crackdown began Monday and will run through Sunday.
