Traffic stop turns up 18 pounds of marijuana

MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - In Madison County, troopers arrested two people with 18 pounds of marijuana in their car.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, it was discovered on Tuesday, November 14th during a routine traffic stop. A trooper pulled the car over for a seat belt violation and smelled a suspicious odor. A search turned up 18 pounds of marijuana in the trunk.

Moises Juarez of California and Jacob Jones of Hawaii now face possession and intent to sell charges.
