(WTXL) - Locals and Law enforcement are going door-to-door in neighborhoods in an effort to stop violent crimes.
"Operation Safe Neighborhoods" is going on all summer long.
This evening, volunteers joined up with the Tallahassee Police Department to hand out safety information to peoples' doorsteps.
The walk started at Griffin Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, and then people walked throughout different streets in the area.
