TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department was investigating a suspicious package at 460 West Tennessee Street Saturday afternoon.
TPD Hazardous Devices Team, with the assistance of the Big Bend Regional Bomb Squad, has resolved the suspicious package incident and the area has been rendered safe.
Tennessee Street between Macomb Street and North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard has been reopened to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Officers say, a man walked into Chi Chi's Cuban Cafe with a backpack, put it down, and walked out.
When he was asked why he left his bag there, he responded "You'll See."
TPD wouldn't say exactly what was in the backpack.

In a precautionary measure, Tennessee Street between Macomb Street and North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard has been closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
TPD is asking the public to avoid the area until it is deemed safe.
The case has been assigned to investigators with TPD's Hazardous Device Team.
At this time, TPD says they are working to ensure the safety of the area, interviewing all known witnesses and processing the scene.
