TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - An armed person is in protective custody after an incident at The Hub apartment complex on Ocala Road.
The Tallahassee Police Department says they received a call for service around 3:51 p.m. Wednesday about an armed person at The Hub apartment complex on Ocala Road.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the person and began negotiating.
Thankfully, officers were able to take the potentially suicidal person into protective custody without injury less than an hour later.
The person, who has not been identified by police, was later taken to a local facility for evaluation and treatment.
