TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - It seems like every day we hear about a shooting or robbery in Tallahassee, and we are only two weeks into the New Year.
WTXL's Jada Williams was live Monday morning with an overview of some of the cases Tallahassee Police and Leon County Deputies are working on.
Two weeks into the new year and law enforcement is keeping busy.
So far, three shootings have led to seven injuries and one death this year.
While an arrest has been made for two of those shootings, TPD is still searching for answers in the incident that injured five in a Pensacola Street Plaza on New Year's Day.
Police are also still searching for the suspect or suspects in two hit-and-run accidents.
One critically injured a cyclist at the intersection of North Monroe Street and Lakeshore Drive on January 3.
On January 11, the other pedestrian involved hit-and-run left one person with serious injuries on Capital Circle North West.
There are other crimes still under investigation by the agencies, such as the robbery at Gaines Street Pies and CVS.
Investigators are also working two death investigations from this weekend.
As of right now, police haven't released if foul play is suspected.
Anyone with anyone information is urged to contact the departments via telephone, social media, or stopping by in person.
Any details can help bring closure.
