TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Applications are being accepted for Tallahassee Police Department's Drug Education For Youth Program.
The DEFY program aims to keep kids with at risk behaviors on the right track.
They will learn leadership and life skills, including goal-setting, conflict resolution and gang resistance.
Tallahassee kids between the ages of 9-12 can apply for the 5-day camp that runs from July 16 - 20.
It is being held at the Florida A&M University's Army ROTC Facility. Applications are online at talgov.com.
