TIFTON, GA -- Employees at a Tifton Waffle House are remembering a coworker shot and killed over the weekend.
Friends and family held funeral services for 30-year old Jesse Hall Wednesday. Hall was shot and left for dead during an attempted robbery at the Waffle House on 7th Street early Saturday morning.
Waffle House hosted a lunch for Hall’s family after the funeral where they also dedicated a bench in Hall’s memory.
“Our management team worked with them to create a bench out in front of the restaurant with his name on it. So that's a little something here, a permanent reminder for what Jesse meant to everyone here at waffle house”, said a Waffle House employee.
Waffle House says that they are now reviewing safety procedures for all locations.
There have been no arrests in Hall’s death.
