VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Three Valdosta teens have been arrested for their connection in several car break-ins that happened Friday evening and Saturday morning.
Daveon Reid, 19, Edmond Williams, 18, and Terria Burns, 19, were arrested by the Valdosta Police Department on Saturday.
On Saturday at about 1:24 a.m., a resident living on Plantation Drive called 911 to report the suspects on his property trying to break into his vehicle.
VPD says multiple officers swarmed the area and initiated a traffic stop on the teens' car.
Officers at the victim's home viewed security camera footage from the home and clearly saw the teens trying to break into the victim's car.
When officers searched the teens' car, they found stolen property from another vehicle break-in earlier Saturday morning on Winding Way.
Based on the evidence, Reid is being charged with prowling and theft by receiving stolen property, while Williams and Burns are being charged with prowling.
VPD says they responded to several vehicle break-ins on Friday evening and Saturday morning, and Reid, Williams, and Burns are now considered suspects in those cases as well.
All were taken to the Lowndes County Jail.
