MADISON COUNTY, FL. (WTXL) - A high speed chase lands three people in jail in Madison County.
According to a witness working closely with Madison County Sheriff deputies, shortly before 5:00P.M. a Toyota Camry with heavily tinted windows failed to pull over for a traffic stop on I10 in Madison County.
The Camry then led deputies on a chase south on Highway 255 then north on Highway 53.
The witness says, the vehicle then made its way back south on Highway 255 where multiple deputies surrounded and disabled the vehicle at the intersection of Highway 255 South and Southeast lloyd Street.
According to the bystander, two officer vehicles were damaged in the pursuit.
Three people were pulled from the Camry and transported to the Madison County Jail. The names and charges of the suspects have yet to be released.
Florida Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
