THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. - A mother and her two children are doing okay after reportedly being held hostage by a family friend.
The friend, Willie Bradshaw, was released from jail in Thomas County earlier Thursday.
He was taken to Archbold Memorial Hospital by EMS in Thomasville for a medical exam.
Thomasville police say the mom, Syrene Davis, and her two children were not injured.
Officers say when they arrived at Bradshaw's home, Davis' two kids ran out of the house, saying Bradshaw was holding their mom hostage.
