THOMASVILLE, Ga (WTXL) - One person is in jail after a Thomasville knife fight, according to police.

Heather Renee Folsom, 26, was arrested on Tuesday for aggravated assault according to the Thomasville Police Department.

Police reports show that Folsom was taking her boyfriend, Adrian Diggs, to his apartment on East Pinetree Boulevard when Diggs's former girlfriend, Shelly Dollar, arrived on scene.

Witnesses told police that Dollar had been dating Diggs and had come to the apartment unannounced to speak with him. Folsom is said to have gone back to the car while the two were talking.

Officers say Dollar left the apartment and went to the car where Folsom and another witness were waiting. That is when officers say the two women briefly argued and Folsom pulled out a knife.

Dollar is said to have been cut several times on her face and head. Police say the witness from the car attempted to pull the women apart and was also cut.

Folsom was arrested and booked in the Thomas County Jail.
