THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - The Thomasville City School Board is discussing major changes that could happen to the school facilities in the coming years.

Board members are hoping a decent amount of people will be in attendance to discuss the proposals in the Five Year Plan.

The meeting began at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Thomasville High School cafeteria.

Chairman Chris Rodd said one item on the agenda is whether they'll remodel or build a new high school.

"As these facility plans continue to grow, we'll keep working towards building bigger, better facilities," said Rodd.

Rodd said how each facility is being used will determine what changes need to be made so students and teachers can continue to prosper.

The Five Year Plan will be finalized in 2020.
