MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says a Tallahassee teen and one other adult were injured after their car overturned on I-10 WB in Madison County.
Troopers said that the crash happened around 1 p.m. on I-10 WB at mile marker 253 on Tuesday.
They said that a 2007 Toyota Yaris, driven by Yofany Caberera, 35, of Tallahassee, was driving in the inside lane when the car ran off the southwest side of the road and into a paved part of the road.
When Caberera tried to pull the car back on the road, she overcorrected, causing the car to hit the paved part of the road again before hitting a guard rail.
The car overturned onto the roof, finally coming to a stop.
Cabrera and the 13-year-old passenger were transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
The driver is facing charges for careless driving.
