TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A sad day for a Tallahassee nonprofit.
On Sunday, The Sharing Tree, had one final sale before moving out of the Centre of Tallahassee.
Two months ago, the nonprofit was told it would need to leave to make room for the Florida Department of Children and Families, which will relocate its headquarters at the mall.
The Sharing Tree is one of the last groups to move out.
Carly Sinnadura, Executive Director of The Sharing Tree, said it was an emotional day.
"Seeing everything go is hard. We have renovated this space from top to bottom and poured our heats and souls into it along side a huge group of volunteers. That's the other part," said Sinnadura. "We rallied this really great, creative group and we have done it all for these children."
The nonprofit still hasn't found a place to relocate. Sinnadura is asking the community for help finding one they can afford.
