TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahasse Fire Department is investigating the cause of a Thanksgiving Day fire in the 1400 Block of Callen Street.
TFD responded to the fire Thursday at 1:14 p.m. Crews were met with heavy smoke and fire coming from the front of the home.
All occupants were out of the home before TFD arrived and extinguished the fire within minutes.
The fire was contained to the room of origin there, but heavy smoke damaged the rest of the home.
The American Red Cross assisted the residents.
