COLLEGE PARK, Ga. (AP) - Police south of Atlanta are searching for suspects after someone opened fire on a crowd of teenagers in a park, wounding three people.
Authorities say the shooting happened around 7 p.m. Sunday at Welcome All Park in the College Park area. Police say they were investigating whether the gunfire was random or whether the teenagers were specifically targeted.
Fulton County police spokeswoman Kay Lester said two 19-year-olds and one 16-year-old were wounded and taken to a hospital. She said a large group of teenagers were at the park when the gunfire began.
WSB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1AmrIKn) that one victim was undergoing surgery late Sunday and that all three teens are expected to recover.
Police are searching for two suspects.
