TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - An 18-year-old has been arrested, accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor.
Justyn Jaaron Cooper remained in the Leon County Detention Center on Monday. He was booked there Saturday on a charge of committing lewd and lascivious battery against a victim less than 16 years old.
He has a $10,000 bond.
Cooper engaged in the illegal behavior on Jan. 27, 2018, according to a probable cause affidavit completed by a Tallahassee Police Department investigator.
The victim told police she met Cooper through social media, considers him her boyfriend, and is aware of his age. She said she spoke with Cooper multiple times about her age.
