TALLAHASSEE, FL - Tallahassee Police are looking for help identifying a suspect wanted for stabbing a man during a burglary.
According to police, a victim heard a noise in the lower level of his townhouse at 132 Dixie Drive around 2:45 p.m. on March 15. When he got to the bottom of the stairs to investigate, he told police he was confronted by an unknown male.
The unknown man reportedly stabbed the victim and fled the scene. The victim received serious but non-life threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery, police said.
Investigators said they are still interviewing witnesses and processing evidence, but are asking for help from anybody who may have information.
The suspect was described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic male approximately 6 feet tall, weighing about 200lbs and was last seen wearing a long sleeve black shirt, beanie on his head and gloves. The suspect may have a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
