TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- Registration is already open for the 2017 Tallahassee Marathon.
The 43rd annual race is set for Feb. 5 of next year.
The 2016 race set records, with more than 1,400 runners competing.
Race officials also unveiled a brand new course, which they say was a success.
"The feedback that we've received from our participants and from the local community has been so validating and exciting," said Race Director Ely Rosario. "We knew that taking a chance on a new course could lead to exciting results, and I couldn't be happier with the positive impact we have had and will continue to have on our Capital City."
