TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Capital City residents came together Monday night to honor the life of a known homeless man that passed away last week from cancer.
Dozens of people shared stories at Lake Ella about their friendship with Dan Hadders.
Hadders was previously in charge of a community of homeless people deep in the woods.
WTXL previously covered a story on Hadders because he benefited from organizations like "Pat's Pantry" last year after Hurricane Hermine hit.
Many of his friends say he was caring and easy to talk to.
