TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee firefighter is accused of attacking a man at a local bar.
Court documents show the incident happened the morning of December 15 at Fire Betty's on Thomasville Road.
During the investigation, the victim and witnesses told Tallahassee police Brent Spooner got in his face then punched him in the head near the air hockey table and again outside.
The victim lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital where he got 11 staples to his head.
Spooner was booked in Leon County Jail on Wednesday and has since bonded out.
Tallahassee Fire Department released a statement about the case saying, "because it is an ongoing investigation and we cannot comment at this time".
