Tallahassee business owner runs for city commission seat

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The owner of Gaines Street Pies has filed his paperwork to run for city commissioner seat 3.

Jeremy Matlow, a Tallahassee native, will join the race alongside incumbent Nancy Miller and William Schack. 

According to a biography done by the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce on Matlow, he grew up on the Southside and in his time living in the Capital City, he has opened several businesses in the Capital City.

On his campaign's Facebook page, he wrote that he is running "to give voice to the unheard and represent working and middle-class people in Tallahassee." You can visit his official campaign website here

He is the managing partner and founder of Gaines Street Pies, Midtown Pies, Northside Pies, Warhouse Whiskey Bar, and The Wilbury.
