VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Valdosta State University's football team is reportedly experiencing some more coaching shake ups.
Sources tell WTXL that Danny Verpaele, VSU's defensive coordinator and line backer coach, has accepted a job to coach defensive backs at Kennesaw State.
Verpaele was there on campus Thursday morning.
This obviously means Verpaele is out of the running to take over the head coaching job at VSU. https://t.co/KG0bSE9F0q

The information comes after WTXL broke the news that head football Coach Kerwin Bell is leaving to become offensive coordinator at South Florida.
Valdosta State is looking to promote from within, but some of the top candidates may follow Bell to USF.
Verpaele joined the Valdosta State coaching staff as a linebackers coach on April 18, prior to the start of the 2016 season.
