FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Franklin County Emergency Management is alerting residents about a scam involving someone posing as a state emergency worker or volunteer.
Officials stated the person claims to be a State of Florida Emergency Support Functions (ESF15) Representative.
They said all representatives from local, state, and federal government will have proper photo identification, no exception.
Officials said do not allow anyone into your home or give out any information without proper identification.
If you are approached by an individual without proper identification, please call 911.
