TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - It's amazing how social media can bring people together to help someone in need.
Cody was first reported missing from home on Tuesday when he escaped after his family's home was broken into. The puppy was later found Wednesday evening.
The search for Cody was kicked into high gear after a tweet on Wednesday.
Greg Tish, the host of "Tish's Town" on Freedom 93.3 and owner of GT Entertainment, tweeted that a lost dog named Cody was wandering near Bannerman and Bull Headly.
He said he was asked to share that Cody was missing and in an effort to help Cody get home, Tish asked for retweets. More than 100 people retweeted the post, to include the Tallahassee Police Department.
Tish was the first to break the news that Cody had been found.
Thanks to Tish, and the many others who shared his post, Cody is now home, safe and sound.
