FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Four people have been arrested after deputies responded to shots being fired at a vehicle with a child passenger inside.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, deputies received a call in reference to gunshots being fired at a vehicle on St. George Island this weekend.
Deputies quickly responded to the scene and immediately arrested three of the four suspects.
While deputies were on scene they found the gun, which turned out to be a pellet gun.
They say the gun had shattered the window of the victim’s vehicle.
The shattered window was on the passenger’s side, where a child was sitting. Deputies say they child did not suffer from any injuries.
The fourth suspect was later arrested for burglary at another location.
Deputies say the four suspects are facing the following charges:
- Rolenio Perez- shooting into an occupied vehicle, criminal mischief.
- Agustins Mejin- accessory after the fact.
- Miguel Gabriel- No valid driver’s license, DUI, accessory after the fact.
- Marvin Acosta- Burglary of a dwelling, disorderly intoxication.
