SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) -- A 56-year-old Sarasota man has been charged with stabbing another man with a sword.
Riccardo Musto was charged on Tuesday with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. At about 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Sarasota Police officers were called to the scene of the stabbing in the 1100 block of Central Avenue.
Musto was taken into custody after he returned to the scene. According to the police, he is cooperating.
The victim in the stabbing is at Sarasota Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. His name is being withheld at this time.
Musto is being held without bond at the Sarasota County Jail. This investigation remains active and ongoing at this time.
