TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL)-- A local Tallahassee organization hosted a safety expo Saturday to educate citizens of the community on ways to protect themselves and others.
Freedom 93 held their Safety Expo Saturday which included safety demonstrations from Tallahassee Police and Leon County Sheriffs Office along with presentations from various experts.
Organizers say, it is important to get vendors, law enforcement, and other agencies together to make sure the community is prepared in case of a dangerous situation.
All this in response to reports back in May of increases in violent crimes for Tallahassee.
