VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - In Valdosta, a trail of candy wrappers leads police to find a teen burglar.
According to officers, the 16 year old committed two burglaries in two days time.
The first incident happened Oct. 23 in the 1300 block of West Park Avenue, when a victim reported that someone entered their home and stole several electronic items.
The next day, police say another victim reported candy being stolen from their home along with other items in the same area.
While investigating, officers followed candy wrappers to a neighboring home and were able to determine a teen living there had committed both burglaries.
He was arrested and taken to the Regional Youth Detention Center.
