Pedestrian seriously injured in Wakulla County hit-and-run crash

WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after an unknown driver seriously injured a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning.

Troopers say the hit-and-run happened early Monday morning on Bloxham Cutoff, one mile west of C.R. 373.

They say an unknown vehicle was traveling south on Bloxham Cutoff when he hit a pedestrian who was laying in the road.

The vehicle didn't stop and continued going south on Bloxham Cutoff. Troopers say a passerby called in the crash at 3:30 a.m. 

The pedestrian has been identified as Roland John of Lauderhill, Florida. He has been hospitalized in Tallahassee.
