TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A man is dead after being hit by a car in Leon County Thursday night.
Charles Leonard, 47, of Tallahassee, died from his injuries after being hit by a car.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, around 8:34 p.m. on Thursday, a car was travelling eastbound on US 27, when Leonard tried to cross the street on US 27, walking into the path of the car.
FHP says alcohol was not a factor in the accident and the accident is currently under investigation.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida Highway Patrol is currently on the scene of a fatal vehicle crash on Apalachee Parkway and Southwood Plantation Road.
Around 8:42 p.m. Thursday, FHP was called out to Apalachee Parkway and Southwood Plantation in regards to a vehicle crash.
Roadways are completely blocked and FHP is asking people to avoid the area and find an alternate route.
